This research aims to find the level of job satisfaction among B.Ed and D.El.Ed trained school teachers teaching at primary level in Jammu and Samba district. Investigator adopted descriptive survey method for data collection from the teachers serving in schools affiliated to State board of education in both districts. The investigator implied the random sampling technique for selecting the sample of 400 school teachers from Government and Private schools teaching in Urban and Rural area, The standardized tool of Meera Dixit used for obtaining results of the dependent variables for job satisfaction. Researcher investigated independent variables locale, gender, type of management, teaching experience and type of training . For the analysis of data investigator employed statistical techniques mean, standard deviation and two sample independent t-test. Findings of the study revealed that the teachers working in rural areas and private schools are less satisfied than those working in the urban area and Government schools.
