India has considerable trade potential, and the relationship between entrepreneurship and skill development is essential. While having skills is important, they do not automatically lead to quality employment. Improving productivity through skill development needs to be combined with broader economic growth and job creation. Entrepreneurship is vital for the overall progress of any nation and has recently gained momentum, especially with more women getting involved. Today, women are becoming more assertive, making significant contributions to their economic goals and social status. This research paper explores the various aspects of women entrepreneurship and skill development in India. It tackles the urgent challenges that women entrepreneurs face, such as access to financial resources, societal biases, and limited market opportunities. Additionally, the study looks at how skill development programs can empower women entrepreneurs an enhance their business skills. By examining the current state of women entrepreneurship and skill development in India, this paper aims to identify key areas for policy improvement and support initiatives that foster a more inclusive and equitable entrepreneurial landscape for women.
