Abstract

The comparative study of Bhojpuri and Assamese work songs deeply explores the expression of folk life. The primary objective of this research is to provide a new perspective on the local, cultural, and social similarities through the analysis of work songs from these two distinct regions. Through this comparative study, light is shed on the expression of labor and folk life. This study not only highlights the heritage of Bhojpuri and Assamese folk culture but also underscores their diversity through folk songs and music. The contribution of labor and work is vividly reflected in these folk songs, portraying the vibrant expression of common folk life.
