Abstract

The progress and pride of any country depends on the language. Language is the agent of civilization. Language also expresses patriotism along with love. We can exchange our feelings and thoughts only through language. Hindi is the only medium of thought exchange in non-Hindi regions. Language removes the darkness prevailing in life and establishes harmony in our life and environment. It makes us independent. The progress of the country depends on the progress of the language. Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru had recognized Hindi as the link language as a symbol of the unity of the Indian nation. Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru had said, the real progress and awakening of the common people of India cannot be done through English. That's why it is important that we think about Hindi, not because Hindi is better than Bangla, Marathi or Tamil, it is not such a thing, but because Hindi is best suited for this work. The format of Hindi is full of world class capabilities. Due to its mobility and variability, it has the ability to adapt to the changing life-scenarios. Songs of Hindi films have made their way not only in every corner of India but also in Japan and other countries. When the people of our country meet in the state, then the state also becomes our country, the language starts laughing and playing with everyone. The new education policy has launched a campaign to impart education in the mother tongue, under which now even the highest level of education will be imparted in the mother tongue. Expressing his views on the importance of mother tongue, Shri Aurobindo said that “while protecting our mother tongue, we can destroy regional discrimination by knowing Hindi as a common language.”
