सार

A successful tax system is essential for an economy's sustainability since taxes are its foundation. Taxes as a proportion of GDP are rising in all modern economies. Stylized data of India and other South Asian nations are used to examine economic growth momentum. It has been determined that models of macroeconomics, general equilibrium, trade, and game theory may be utilised to analyses micro, macro, and sectoral problems associated with economic growth, respectively. A more methodical and scientific analysis of the potentials, existing strengths, and comparative advantages of these economies is required in order to achieve higher rates of economic growth. Because of this, these economies are able to make greater progress in the competition for growth that is going place in the economy of the world. The policies that are put in place to link the many industries, regions, and countries along this path to long-term prosperity should be consistent and comprehensive. The results of the study reveal that a significant Negative relationship exists between Taxation and economic growth in SAARC.
